Nursery Bedding

I have been searching for the perfect bedding set for my little one. I've searched high and low, but cannot seem to find anything that I feel like I have to have. I think it's crazy that a lot of people charge $350 for 3-4 nursery bedding, especially since the designs IMHO aren't unique at all. Damask, Elephants, Airplanes and Peonies seem to dominate the baby bedding market.

I happened upon a Michael Miller fabrics (not sure how, just searching designer fabrics) and came across a collection that I just had to have.

Because of this I have decided to get ambitious and make my own bedding set. I've researched this, and a lot of the blogs say it's simple, so I figure I will give it a try. I'm not in a time crunch (well not yet) so I figure I might as well at least try.

The only problem now is finding the perfect bedding. I've managed to narrow it down to a few collections that I would thrilled about making mini-me's bedding set with.

All of these fabrics are by Patty Young, and I feel each one can give me a great starting point for an awesome nursery design. So this is what I've been thinking about, and once I get finished then I will be happy to share the final result.
