Stop....Fabric time

So here are my choices for our upholstery redo. After some careful consideration I've decided to go with fabric that closely resembles a set I saw at Rooms to Go.

This particular set from RTG is called the Pemberton. It's $1355 (current sale price) for a 7 piece set. All we really needed was seating for the tables and lamps would go. We would just be charged more for the individual pieces. This set is also at Value City Furniture for $999. Still a little more than we have to spend. So in my ever so crafty DIY/Nesting ways I have decided to recreate my own version of this set. Just suited a little more to our taste
That's not illegal is it?

First up is the upholstery fabric itself. I found this at Hancock Fabrics and it's the exact kind I need. Yes the price is $19.99 a yard {eek!!!} but they constantly have coupons and they have a pretty decent sale every other week, so I may just need to catch them on a great day. And just my luck it's on sale for $9.99 also!!! It's called Fiori Black Tweed if you must know!

This green fabric is one of my choices for throw pillows. It looks really good in person and is oh-so soft. And it's only $7.00 a yard--a little more reasonable.

Here are some other choices for pillows that I really really really really love. But I have a feeling I have a very hard time convincing DH to go with any of these. Especially the purple. And oh how I love the purple--it is my favorite.

The two samples below, match more of DH's style. He is very muted when it comes to color. All neutral no pizzazz. Me on the other hand, I love color. I mean LOVE color. I don't understand how we got together--but we do. And usually anything that involves decorating almost always starts and ends in an argument. But it's okay--we love each other and it's all about compromise in the end.

If you notice these two pillows almost match the one in the RTG set, something I would love to avoid if at all possible.

See this is the purple (set by Alessandra Marchesini). It is very cute and very luxe. It looks very rich and the colors in person are extremely vibrant. The best part about this particular fabric is that it was originally $19.99 a yard, but.....it's on sale for $9.99 a yard!! Amazing.....

Just in case you can't tell just how beautiful they are because of my crappy phone pictures here are some better ones.

I threw in this pink satin swatch, because I loved it in the store, but wasn't entirely sure if I could use it. So I didn't bother to take a picture of it, but the more I think about it, a solid color would look really nice. So I think I can stick with it!

So here are the choices. I have a tendency to get my way--so all I have to do is work my magic and I think I may be able to get DH to go with purple throw pillows. If not--then the green is always a great choice too!
