I answered my own question

After much thought between the time I wrote this post and a now the one I am writing now, I have decided to have a baby shower. Why you ask? Because I like to party.

And I have come up with a plethora of ideas for an Alice in Wonderland themed baby shower.

Did I mention it's also because I want this cake?

Looks mighty scrumptious doesn't it? I thought you might like it.

So here we have it--I've decided to have a shower (more of a sprinkle shower, you know the modern day term for a woman who wants a 2nd baby shower). So mimosas and sparkling white grapefruit juice for everyone!!

Baby Shower or Not to Baby Shower....that is the question.

It's an age old argument of etiquette: Do you have a baby shower for your subsequent children or not? I pose this question because DH asked when was I having one and I told him I didn't think we were supposed to. He thought that was rubbish and so did I, but from everything I've read it was a no-no.

I think that since I had a boy the first time and now a girl I'm entitled to another baby shower. I'm not one of those people who expects everyone to give me something--hell just show up drink mimosa's and have a good damn time.
