Proud Mama

Today I am a proud mother because my son, niece and nephew all had their baptism and dedication. It was a very special moment, that I had been waiting for, for quite sometime and while he (they) maybe to young to know what's going on or to even realize the effects of this, I know that I can now set them upon a path of righteousness.

Leading by example of faith is something I have always truly believed in, and the little ones will have a very strong community of faith supporting them every step of the way.

Happy Birthday Grandpa

Today the boy and I are headed out of town to spend some time with my grandfather. We are having an 80th birthday party for him at his house and I'm really excited about being about to get out of town for a few hours and see the family.

19 weeks and my brother's graduation

I swear people get the WORST pictures of me. But this made me laugh so I had to share (thanks mom!). My little brother graduated high school today. {tear} And I am so proud of him.

He will be off to college in the fall and all I can say is--good luck. I try not to get sentimental with him, because he'll never take it seriously.
